Overview
SellPilot subscribes to your Instagram DMs using the Facebook Page access token — this avoids the Meta reconnect loop and the second OAuth screen. Before you can connect Instagram, you must connect Messenger so SellPilot has a Page token to use.
Requirements
- Facebook Page is connected in SellPilot.
- Instagram account is Business or Creator.
- Instagram is linked to the same Facebook Page in Accounts Center.
- Instagram → Settings → Privacy → Messages allows connected tools.
Step-by-step
- Channels → Instagram → Connect.
- SellPilot reads the Facebook Page token and subscribes to your IG DMs.
- Send a test DM from another account to verify the conversation appears in Inbox.
Troubleshooting
- If Connect Instagram is disabled, your Facebook Page is not connected or its setup is incomplete. Reconnect Messenger first.
- If DMs don't arrive, check Instagram → Settings → Privacy → Messages → Connected Tools.
